Since 2011, Dermikelp® has been in continuous research and development. We collaborated with dermatologists in the EU to conduct Human Repeat Insult Patch Tests (HRIPTs) to test the safety of Dermikelp®. Test results conclusively determined that Dermikelp® products will not irritate existing skin conditions.
Following the safety testing of our products, clinical trials were conducted to determine the efficacy of Dermikelp®. In these trials, Dermikelp® offered comparable relief to 1% hydrocortisone creams within 30 minutes, but without any of the side effects.
Thus, Dermikelp® can quickly relieve irritated, inflamed, and itchy skin symptoms and break the itch-scratch cycle (which is caused by intense itching that can’t be avoided, which causes further inflammation and itching).
According to research conducted at the University of the Western Cape, our CEM-K contains higher levels of compounds with anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties.
